Could you check this paragraph for me?

To regain humanity, we should stop to think about our lives from the beginning. If there's nothing we can do to change our society as a whole, the least we can do is to rebuild our own lives, which we weren't allowed to have a comple control over. As long as we think we can't just sit back and watch ourselves at the mercy of our society, it's our responsibility to rebuild our lives to our satisfaction.
