While traveling in the countryside of Bretagne, I encountered a rather shocking incident. I was having lunch at a restaurant when I saw a cute waitress use her leg to open the door. Her rough way may be reasonable, considering her many trips between the kitchen and the restaurant with trays in her hands. However, from a Japanese point of view, I was very shocked when I saw her kick the door open.

When writing or speaking in English, it would be better to use the English name for that part of the world: Brittany en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brittany Not a lot of English speakers would be familiar with its French name.

Thank you very much, both, for your advice Emotion: smile I really like the change you've made to my writing. Instead of using "encountered,"
