My favorit season
Every season has good and bad sides, there's no time when you dont find obstacles that you have to negotiate but you can find something wonderful in any of them. Although there's no perfect season still when i think which could be my favorit i think at my favorit celebration and it is Christmas. The source of this feeling is from my childhood, i always liked this period of the year when people care a lot about each other, there's some magical excitement in the air which always captivated me. The landscape can show us a monotous prospect at the first sight but if we look more thoroughly, we can discover various admirable things around us.
At the end of the Autumn the trees slowly let their leaves to fall on the ground, so we can clearly make out how the branches are aesthetically intertwined. Though there are some evergreen trees and bushes like the pine or thuya. The temperature goes to subzero and the hours of sunshine gets fewer. During these circumstances the water freezes so the rain changes to snow which makes a feebly shining white blanket on the landscape. If the weather is pretty cold for a long time, the lakes' upper layer freezes to ice too. Animals adapt to this weather in different ways. Birds fly to the south, some of the mammals gather enough food and hibernate in a safe and peaceful place. This time the ground freezes too, the dust cant spread out, so the air stays clear.
Despite the chilling weather people managed to find various ways to a have rest or have fun in these days too. On the lakes you can ice-skate, if it's frozen enough and not dangerous anymore, you can go to the mountains for skiing or snowboarding or the youth even likes playing with the snow, making a snowman or having a battle with snowballs. Of course if you want to go outside you have to wear a warm winter coat, gloves, scarf, otherwise you can easily catch cold.
The winter has different celebrations that we wait for all year, the day of Saint Nicholas, Christmas and the New Year's Eve. People prepare a lot for these celebrations, they go shopping, cook, clean the house, make or buy presents. The citycenters suddenly get full of life, streets' and buildings' decorations light up the long dark hours with their glistening blaze. Sellers lure customers with their sales, and people spend many hours at those places. At christmas time, when the rush stops for a while, friends and mostly the family's members can spend more time together, paying attention at each other, and this way relationships can become stronger. The year eventually ends and it's the time to have fun especially for the youth. This time we can think over what happened this year and make plans for the future how to live a happy life.
Although winter is the coldest season it can bring the most warm moments of our lives.
