Could you check this in terms of grammar and expressions?

The first thing that caught my eye was that the campus is surrounded by so much green. This came as a surprise because Tokyo University is located in the very center of the city. People living in so-called "concrete jungle" can rarely notice, let alone appreciate, the changes of the seasons. But I believe students here are lucky enough to be able to enjoy the turning leaves in fall and the fresh smell of leaves in summer.
