In this course, you will be introduced to the Photoshop CS3 environment.
You will create an image using basic tools and techniques of Photoshop CS3.
- Overview of Photoshop interface and functionality of environment
- Technical fundamentals of bitmap (raster) images
- Organizing an interface and a workplace
- Identify the various parts of a screen and they purpose
- Introduction to file formats
- Basic colour profiles (CMYK and RGB)
- Importing files from a hard drive
- Basic tool functions
- Basic operations (opening, saving, selecting)
Exercise:
- Opening and closing files using Adobe Photoshop
- Using a basic selection tools remove a background of a image and clean up details, change background and play with colour or gradient
- Zoom and crop part of the picture, change brightness and contrast for a whole picture or part of the picture
- Use a pallet menus and a context menus
- Use undo actions to correct mistakes or to make different choices
- Saving created pictures and print them
