Letter Writing

Could you check my email, please? it's my home task for tomorrow)

Dear Mary,

Thank you for your letter. I was glad to hear from you.

I can’t wait for you to come to my place next month! I’ve got so much things planned to do during your stay, so you will definitely not get bored.

Firstly, we’ll make a bus tour around city. I know you are keen on sightseeing and excursions. Then we could visit the Kremlin and walk along Red Square and the Alexandrov Gardens. It’s usually really beautiful and peaceful in there this time of the year. By the way, don’t forget to take your new photo camera with you. You know, mine has broken down recently, so I’m not sure it’ll be fixed up by your visit.

Secondly, how about going to the zoo? We both like animals plus the Moscow zoo is one of the greatest zoos in the world. Then we could visit the Tretyakov Gallery. You’ve already been to the Hermitage and you liked it, so, to my mind, this would be a pleasure for you too.

Last but not least – the Bolshoi Theatre! There actually will be “Romeo and Juliet” on the 5th day of your stay, so I suppose you will be eager to go, won’t you? If there is nice weather, we could enjoy picturesque view from aboard of a river steamboat sailing along the Moskva river.

By the bye, you really should take an umbrella with you, just in case. Moreover, don’t forget warm clothes, because, you know, weather in Russia is sometimes even more unpredictable than in England.

As far as I know, your flight arrives at Sheremetyevo-2 at 6 p.m., right? So, my father and I will pick you up from there by car, if you don’t mind. We’ll meet you at the baggage claim.

I have to go now. Looking forward to seeing you!

Yours,

Asya.
