There is my opinion about a movie.
I liked the movie very much. I was caught on first of all the fact that the main hero is very unusual, something like a marginal person. He is unsophisticated, naive, not capable to take vengeance, not capable to do evil.Forrest Gump did not set oneself as an object to became a celebrated figure, but he has become, he did not want to be a hero of the war, but he has done, he did not try to make a fortune, but he has made. In spite of the fact that he is frank and unsuspecting, simple-minded and not very bright and he more simply fulfilled somebody’s orders that thought, he instinctively felt, how need to do, he understood at heart where is good and where is evil. Lieutenant Dan ordered to abandon him to die but Forrest did not obey, he acted, as his soul wanted, as his heart told him. His girlfriend, Jenny, always got into troubles and only Gump became for her an little island of happiness.Jenny looked for happiness through all her life, as though she did not see that it is near, that a man is who waits and loves, and always will waits. He promised to fulfil his friend’s dream and fulfilled it in spite of the fact that his friend fell in battle long ago Forrest adhered his principles, adhered his word.
I think in Forrest’s life all the circumstances were so favourable because he did not remember grudges and simply looked at life.The world in Gump’s interpretation is another, different from the usual people’s world but he managed to accept his deformities, managed to advance, he simply lived. And Gump’s inspiration, his easy view of things, his ability to find the joy of life in ordinary things gave lieutenant Dan power and desire for life. Forrest Gump and lieutenant Dan are similar and different at the same time.Forrest is a fool, and lieutenant Dan is a disabled person, a cripple. But the first in spite of the all misfortunes, grudges and sorrow did not become embittered with the world, did not blame God or his destiny and and wanted to live. His inspiration and inward liberty had a miraculous effect upon Dan. Of course they did not restore him his legs, but they healed the wounds of Dan’s soul. He has wanted to live, managed to overcome himself and his life began to return to normal. He grew rich, found a girlfriend, and even managed to step though on some artificial limbs.
This s a splendid motion picture, and in my opinion, it won 6 awards not without any reasons.There is divine acting and chic music, and the perfect the stage director’s work, and the interesting well worked out script, and the catchy secondary roles and many others. The such movie is wanted too watch again and again.
