could you......

Could you give me a "topic sentence" for the "time order" paragraph? I'm confused.

Top answer

First you have to decide on a topic: a series of events in your life, a step-by-step how to do something, etc.

Can I say.....
1. Anyone can become a good spouse if he or she keep these promises.
2. It's easy to make a pie if you follow these instructions.

. . . . he or she keeps these promises.

I'd say that these two sentences could work as "topic sentences."

You have to write about a sequence: "First, I find my shoes. Next, I get them on the right feet. Then, I get out my knot manual..." etc.
