Yes.

Why do I need 'am' there?
If so, there will be two verbs in one sentence,'am' and 'help.'

It actually should be:

I am more likely to help you

"likely to + verb infinitive" is a set pattern.

GPY has caught the mistake. I left out "to". The main clause is I am more likely, and to help you is an infinitive complement to the adjective likely.

Besides, you shouldn't worry about two verbs in one sentence. You can have as man
