Hi Boss,

I was informed that you are interested in giving me a permanent position in Guang Zhou. Thank you very much for your recognition on my works and efforts for last few years especially during this few months in Guangzhou. I believe that I have done my job well and to the best of my ability, and that my skills have improved since I began working here. I am also eager to take on more responsibility.

I've been giving it some thought and I'd like to try to help arrive at a way for the company to move forward constructively.

I found that the work opportunities in the rapidly growing China region is more challenging and I believed that it would be benefit the company if I could continue to work in Guang Zhou's office. Therefore, I'm interested to take this opportunity to continue develop my career in this region.

I would very much appreciate it if you could advise me as what kind of salary / remuneration you would consider offering me. In order for me to sustain and to grow my career beyond my current position, my expected base salary is SD xxx/month on top of those accommodation, allowance, leave entitlements, employment location & etc. that have been provided so far. In view to my loyalty, my past performance, and present increased responsibilities, please consider a review of my salary and a reasonable increment.

It is important for me to have a safe living environment to perform the best of my ability.

Beside that, I also hope the company will provide me a return flight ticket from Guangzhou to Singapore every 2 month with the minimum stay and work in Singapore office for a week before return back to Guang Zhou again. The main reason of this is because I would like to travel back to my hometown during the weekend for at least once every 2 months & visit my parents who are getting old in age. Therefore, I would appreciate it very much if you could assist me on this.

I would also like to know my position/title in Guangzhou & who am I reporting to after the permanent relocation to Guang Zhou. it is very important for me to know my role/duties in order to perform the best for the company. Will it be the same as Jenny's role in the Guang Zhou Office as what you told me before?
