Hi teachers,
Could this be the appropriate question for the statement?
How long would he like to stay with her? He would like to stay with her always.
Would it be better to say, 'For how long would he like to stay with her?'
Neither of them?

"For how long would he like to stay with her?"

They are equally good. You could reply: "Forever!"
