Could theorigins of the word "loo" be simple?

I just read most of .

I was reading some other page where the writers said the expression in Europe is "room 100".

In Israel it is known as the zero-zero and people asked say it stands for "Officers Only" from the British mandate.

Being that I'm illiterate, I thought that maybe the origins of the word "Loo" , "room 100" and "00" are the same.

Take a board and write 00 on it. If the board is hung as a sign for the toilet area of an army camp or

just a place where there is a public toilet, the "0" reprsents the holes or toilet or what ever you squat or sit at,

and the "L" is from the shape of the sign or a sign maker making a "fancy" sign with a 2 sided border.

I'd be happy to know what you think.
