Could someone pls correct my grammar? (06FEB)

You will move to a new city for work. You know some people who live there.

How are you? I haven't seen you so long. What have you been up to? I will move to your hometown next month since I got a new job there. Perhaps we can have a drink and chat on every Friday just like the old times.
By the way, I intend to rent a apartment in your home town for my accommodation. Can you give some advise to me? I hope the apartment is not too far away from downtown, if the location is near police station will be perfect. I remember you told me that the public security in your hometown is bad. Regarding the size of the apartment, I think 500 to 600 feet is quite suitable and affordable for me.

(1) is wrong because "advise" (verb) should be a "advice" (noun).
Also, "give some advice", though correct, is better replaced by a shorter word of just "advise".
