Could someone please peer edit my speech?

Every person in the world, every love, and every culture is like no other. Our charter of rights and freedoms states that each of us is entitled to express this uniqueness. If that is so, then why do we have laws that limit our individuality? Today, nearly fifty percent of the world's population believes in polygamy. Fifty percent. Out of these people, a million of them are unable to practice their culture. Unlike most other laws, this one does not stand to protect anybody, because nobody is hurt by marrying the people they love. These are consensual marriages, where people know exactly what they are getting into, and this is what they want. If Canada is as open, as accepting, and as multicultural as it claims, then laws like this must be abolished.

Thank you:)
