Could someone please fix my cover letter for an internship. Thank you.
Dear Sirs
Internship for Business Studies/Administration Students
I am applying for the above internship, as posted on the XYZ.com website on 29 November 2012.
This November, I have recently completed a Diploma in XYZ. While waiting for the results, I am seeking an internship at your company.
Your requirements:
Communication skills -- In XYZ class, I learned how to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with people.
Teamwork -- During my studies, I participated in group work and presentations. This experience taught me the importance of working together to achieve group goals.
Punctuality -- My lecturers say that I always hand in my assignments on time. I also have a good attendance record, and arrive early for classes.
In addition to my education, I have also worked as an office assistant at college. This is part of the course, where students are trained to work in a model office.
In this role, I worked at the front office, staff room and senior staff room. This includes typing letters, entering student data into database, and answering telephone enquiries.
