Could someone please correct my sentences

1. If you got a chance to marry her, would you OR do you?

2. As far as I have heard only anonymous quotes are the best quotes ever.

The verb DO could be used but the first verb in the sentence would have to be in the present tense - and it sounds more philosophical :

If you get the chance to save someone's life by giving them your kidney, do you? (do you give them your kidney?)
