depending the context, in / at restaurant- ok

in a hotel, hostel, shop, office,

At work , the station, stop, airport,
I live in a hostel in cambridge (OK) ; I live on cambridge layout (not sure what a layout is?) But assuming it is a campus, it is "on", but in a dorm
I live on Lobo Lane, on Col.Patrick street If referring to a complete address it is "at 1234 Lobo lane" But "on Lobo lane"
On the bus, beach
What is the difference between stay and live? Live- suggests a permenant address. Stay- is for short period.i.e. I satyed with my cousin in Calif when I was on vacation.

What is the difference between what and which? " What" suggest the "unknown", " which " suggests " selections".

Like your example: which (one) is your bag? or what color is your bag ?

I take/catch/board the bus,train from here (on CMH Road) They are all possible and very similar, depending on the rest of the context.

But I prefer "catch" because its meaning is broader amd more complete. i.e. I catch the 7:00am bus to work and I make it to the office just about 5 minutes before 8. If it is a train, you can say "take".
