Could someone please clear my doubts with these sentences?

First and foremost, have I formed the sentence under "Subject" correctly?

  2. I live in a hostel in cambridge ; I live in/on cambridge layout

What is the difference between stay and live?

I stay/live in a hostel ; I live/stay with my parents ; I live/stay on my own with my dog

Elder/Older

She is elder to/than me ; She is elder than me by 5 years

What are their names? ; What are the names of the band members/team players (or members)?
