Could someone please check the gramer of this email. I have to send it to my professor in few hours...

Dear Prof. XYZ,
I am writing to inform you that I would not be able to complete the research plan in time. I apologize for the delay. I couldn't able to give much time, as I have to prepare for due my Graduate Record Examination which is next week. Would it be possible for me to send my ABC research plan with my application? Later, if selected, I will change it to the topic you gave me in your last email. Please let me know at your earliest convenience as tomorrow is late date to submit my application. Thank you for you time
