Could someone help me with this? (urgent)

Dear Sir/Miss,
I often come across the following sentences:

Do you mind if I take this seat?
Do you mind if I took this seat?
Would you mind if I take this seat?
Would you mind if I took this seat?

I don't know which are correct and which are not. I hope you can help me.
Thank you very much!

These three are acceptable, and are in order of increasing courtesy (although the differences are relatively minor): Do you mind if I take this seat? Would you mind if I take this seat? Would you mind if I took this seat?
