Could someone help me revise it, please?

When I was young, what most interested me was the ball-and-stick model in my grandfather's office. I tirelessly linked the colorful balls into arbitrary shapes, which inspired me with a vision of the microscopic world. Under the double driving force of interest and effort, I achieved a fine grade in the National Chemistry Competition, and graduated from a first-class high school with top level honors.
In recognition of my consistent excellence, I won scholarships in every academic year, such as Gold Excellent Student Scholarship (the highest honors awarded to top 3% students), Maosen Zhang Scholarship, Bronze Excellent Scholarship and the Bronze Excellent freshman Scholarship, etc. My grades have been on the rise all the while and the GPA of my junior year reached nearly 3.9. This proves my solid theoretical background. It is worth mentioning that I have been studying in Class for Honors Bachelor of Physical Science, which is set up by School of Chemistry and Materials Science, educating creative students with comprehensive theoretical knowledge as well as experimental skills in physical science. To broaden my academic background, on the basis of the curriculum of Material Science Dept., I have also learned some professional curriculum in the Chemistry Dept. and Biology Dept. During my college years, my most valuable gain is two independent research experiences.
