00Angie lives in Nunspeet and doesn’t have any children. She has a Rottweiler puppy who’s the baby. She’s married with Aart Niebeek and she’s 38 years old. She lived in England but when she started at travelscope she travelled all over the world. She lives 3 ½ years in the Netherlands. The originally city she comes from, is Exeter it’s at the southwest coast. Exeter is a cathedral city. It’s a city with different country areas and it’s not far from the seaside. When we asked her about typical English things she told that every town has their own English traditions. 02br

00Angie lives in the Netherlands because she became to work at travelscope and met her husband in Holland. She loves Holland, Amsterdam, the people and the way of life. When she met her husband they decided to live in Holland, because her husband always lived in Nunspeet and Angie travelled all over England and the world. She preferred Holland. To make the decision, was difficult in the way she must left her family, but they come over quiet a lot. Once a year she goes to her family in England. 02br

00We asked Angie if she still reads English newspapers, English books or watches English television. She answered; she still watches English television to keep up the news. Books does she read in English and Dutch.02br

00Another question to Angie was, if she was bonded with Holland, thinking about typical Dutch things, like queens day, the Royals etc. She said that queen Beatrix is more her queen than Queen Elisabeth. Probably she knows more about the Dutch Royals than about the English Royals, because she has to tell the tourists about it. The main things Angie had to get use to it in Holland were the language and the way of life. The language is very difficult to her, because it’s so different than English. The way of life is much slower she thinks. In England she was always in a hurry but here in Holland it’s much slower and she thinks also the people are friendlier. She says, Holland has a better attitude. At the end of our interview we asked her if she could imagine some negative things of Holland. Her answer was very nice to hear, because she couldn’t think of anything. The only thing she could think about of what she misses in Holland is the countryside it’s everywhere flat. 02br

00The last question to Angie was where she does to prefer to live, but it was all quiet clear. She never wanted to go back to England. She loves Holland. 02br
