Dear Sir/Madam
Subject: Sponsor cover letter for settlement visa of my son Biraj Adhikari
I write in support of my son, Biraj Adhikari’s application to come and live with me in United Kingdom. I am permanent residence holder and has been living in UK for past eight years. I work as a chef in a restaurant with the annual salary of £19,000 before tax.
My son currently attends high school back home and has been living in school accommodation since I came to United Kingdom. As of date 28 march 2017 he has officially finished his high school education and I believe it is now time for my son to come live with me in the United Kingdom. I have not attempted to do so before because he wanted to finish his education in Nepal, and I also worried that uprooting him would have been too unsettling at his age. Hence this is the reason why we waited until he finished his studies.
This is the main factor and what I have been planning all along. But there are also other factors to consider. As he would no longer be able to continue using school accommodation facilities and given the fact that there is also no one to take care of him back home hence the reason his step-mother who has been in my son life since divorce has gone back to Nepal to take care of him during visa processing time. I believe it’s best for my son to come live with me where I can raise my son with best care.
His biological mother has not been in his life since divorce. I’ve been looking after my children solely since my divorce. I have all legal rights to my son. So I have been bringing him up in all aspects, financially as well as all major decision making in his life. I have always been in contact with my son through social media (messages and call proof are enclosed) also visit him as often as possible. During his school holidays or festivals when I would not be able to visit him he would stay with his cousin Manju Gyawali and I send her money through Bhandari Brothers LTD to cover his expenses.
I still currently have the same employer and have done for a long time so I am settled in this job. Therefore I am employed and all documents related to my job is included. I have been living in a 2 bedroom flat in the same town so that we can accommodate our boy adequately. As stated it has 2 large bedrooms, large living room, large kitchen, bathroom, dining room.
My children can live with me in the UK with no financial reliability to public funds which is proven by all documentation. I humbly request you to issue dependant settlement visa to my son to enable him to be in better care.
Please do not hesitate to contact us in need of further details or queries.
Sincerely
