Could someone check my ABSTRACT?

I have to write a 300 word abstract for my paper to be published. I do have a bit of problems with finding and using the proper tenses in my writing. Could someone please have a look at it for me. ABSTRACT



One of the new ways for companies to demonstrate their social responsibility is to engage in philanthropic activities. The common reasoning in the existing corporate social responsibility literature is that this is good for the reputation of the organisation, looking at the external effects. However, researchers have not looked at the internal effects of philanthropic activities until now. For this reason, this study makes an attempt to fill the gap in the literature by looking deeper into the internal effects of philanthropic activities on the organisation. In conclusion, the purpose of this research is to study the relation between philanthropic activities and the corporate image from an employee perspective - or in other words the internal image



The study is conducted among employees of the mortgage department of the ..Bank in by using a self constructed questionnaire. The 54 questionnaire responses received were analyzed using factor analysis and multiple regression techniques. The findings show a positive effect between the philanthropic activities and the internal image of the ...Bank. Moreover, by creating a better internal image, ... creates an emotional surplus value which can give an advantage in competition with other companies. Consequently, a good internal image can help ... to develop their attractiveness towards people necessary for its success. For example, when ... has a positive internal image, the employees are probably more involved and this can result in more productivity and/or efficiency, and that is what every company is reaching for.



The findings lead us to believe that it is essential for future research to look at both the internal and external effects of philanthropic activities. In this case, the conclusion to be made is that it is beneficial for ... to deploy philanthropic activities.
