Could somebody please let me know if the punctuation is correct in these sentences?

A) For your convenience, I have included the contents, the authors, the dates, and the versions.

B) For your convenience, I have included the contents;the authors;the dates;and the versions.

Top answer

(A) is correct. The final comma, known as a "serial comma", is optional; its inclusion is a style choice. The serial comma is said to be more usual in AmE than BrE.
