For parents, few things are more import_ant than their kids. Working parents is an issue which frequently generates a great deal of heated debate, with supporters maintaining that is vital in order to earn money for the good life, whilst opponents claim that it is very awkward period of time for children since they can’t spend time with the closest family and it would be better if one parent didn’t work and stayed at home until the children leave school.
Firstly, children grow up very fast nowadays and they want to move with the times. For instance, they must have the best clothes, the high-tech mobile phones or laptops but they don’t have their own money and everything should be bought by parents.
Secondly, it is often argued that working parents are the best way to ensure their children job in the future. Many people feel that, it is difficult to get a job after school immediately but if mother or father has a strong position in the company, their children won’t have problem with start in adulthood.
In contrast, supporters of staying at home by one parent until the children leave school suppose that it will be the best way to have more control of children lives. For example, when teenagers take drugs they can be noticed by their parent and then they can start to help them before it will be hazardous.
Furthermore, it is generally felt that young people like when they are coming back at home and somebody is waiting for them with hot dinner. Then they feel safety and it teaches them how to be good parent in the future, a daily life is some lesson for them. It is often argued that the family is the first and the most import_ant group in our life and the best for the youngest is spending a lot of time with their parents and siblings.
Taking everything into account, it is true to say that these opportunities have advantages and disadvantages, but I suppose, better for children would be if one parent didn’t work and stayed at home because money should not be more import_ant than relationships with family.
