Should it be 'not' or 'don't' ?

Please don't talk to me.

Could you please not talk to me. (This sounds like you've already asked the person to not talk to you, and yet they keep trying to talk to you - this sounds like a repeated request.)

It should be: "Could you please not talk to me." (polite request) or "Please don't talk to me." (imperative + please).

Don't worry. I would not say this unless there is absolutely nothing more civil I could do about a situation. Just to make sure it's not a typo...Is there a question mark (?) at the end of 'Could you please not talk to me' ?
