Could I use "have got" with if ( have got for possessions )

examples :

If He has got a fish , I will cook it for his dinner.

If He hasn't got a fish, I won't cook it for his dinner. Are they correct ?

the past form:

If He had(got) a fish,I would cook it for his dinner.

And must i vanish the got in the past or not ?

Top answer

And must i vanish the got in the past or not ? 'Got' makes both the present and the past less formal, but they are grammatically OK.
