Two men look out through the same bars; one sees mud and one the stars.
People are God's most interesting creatures whose mind is a great mistery of all times. What makes us different from each other? Not only phsically, but also mentally. This is the many key to finding an answer to a great nimber of different questions. From this quote above I can suggest that the one who sees mud is a pessimist while the second person is an optimist.
People never see one and the same thing from the same perspective. Our point of views are as different as we ourselves. When I was studying at school we would discuss many different issues in the classroom. The more we were the more opinions could have been heard. What exactly makes a person see things in a different way can be the way his or her brain is built. It can also be due to one's cultural background and even because whether this person is a woman or a man.
Everyone knows that men think in quite a different way than women. I first paid attention to this fact when I was much younger. Many people notice it while being very young. I faced such an observation during interactions with my friends at school, or even while watching them as an outsider. It was when I first became interested in how our brain works.
A clean well lighted place is a short story that shows not just how different we are, but how different the world inside each person is.
In conclusion, I would say that seeing mud where another person can see only stars makes people the most interesting subject of study. It is a good example of how unique each individual is.
Thank you very much
