Could anybody correct these two sentences for me?

Could anybody correct these two sentences for me?

(1) The garden in front of my house provides us fresh air.
(2) I hope to employ an hour sweeper to clean our centre. (a person who help other wash toilet, sweep floors and so on. Their pay is counted by how many hours they work. We employ them every time when we need them. We needn't employ him all the time.)
Many thanks in advance.
