Could anybody correct these two sentence for rme?

(1) Temperature of my classroom is getting higher and higher. It means that our environment has been polluted.
(2) In Malaysia, students always listen to what teachers say and never voice their opinions. On the controvesial, students of/in English-speaking countries tend to voice more opinions than listen to their teacher.

Could anybody correct these two sentence for rme?

The temperature in my classroom is getting higher and higher. That doesn't necessarily mean that our environment has been polluted. Maybe someone turned the furnace on.
