Could any one correct and give some advise my letter to UK embassy

Hi All,

I live in UK as student. I got to write a letter to

British Embassy in my country about bring

my wife and son to live with me during my study in UK,

I have drafted a letter collecting few phrases from some posts

of this this forum.

Please correct it and give me some advise for the letter,

Thanks.

Letter is as follows:

**********************************************************************

Letter of Invitation

London

05 Aug, 2007.

Dear British Consulate,

My name is John Smith (DOB 21/10/72). I am a highly motivated student

at the Edgware Academy of Languages and Computer Science in London UK

and have been studying here since September 2003. I’m currently in the

first year of a three year Diploma Course in Business Administration

at certificate level. I have been granted leave to remain in the UK

until August 2010 as a student for completing the course.

I have been on holiday twice in my country during my study,

4 weeks in SEP 2004 and 3 weeks in 2005.

I wish with this letter to invite my wife Mrs. Julia Smith (DOB 29/11/71)

and my son Albert Smith (DOB 01/05/95) to live with me in the UK

during my study. They will stay with me at the two bedroom flat

where I live. My wife will support themselves financially without

recourse to public funds during their stay here.

And, I assure you that they will leave the UK at the end of their

permitted stay in UK. I have been obeying UK Immigration Rules and

completely understand that we MUST obey it.

Finally, I will be very grateful if you could grant a visa to my wife

and a son to come and live with me in the UK.

Thank you in advance.

If you require further information please contact me.

Yours Faithfully

Mr. John Smith

P.S. Enclosed documents

1. Notarised photocopy of my passport pages

2. Tenancy Agreement of my accommodation.

3. School confirmation letter of my student status.

4. My visa extension history in UK.

Some questions:

Q1: Do I have to mention which courses I finished before?

Q2: I extended my visa four times in UK. Do I need to mention them here?

Q2: Whate else do I have to mention in this letter?

Thanks in advance

I would suggest that you tell them how your wife will support herself and provide some sort of proof.
