Could a native speaker please help correct these sentences?
Which words would you choose? Is the sentence natural? How would you say it if it isn't?
1) He was walking along/ alongside the road.
2) I'd rather have you do/doing that.
3) 3 cars could drive in/on 2 lanes. That's how wide the lanes are.
4) We are one hour out/away.
5) I could use some help, writing this as best I can. /the best possible way./ the best I can.
6) We are crossing/going through the city.
7) The people that work for him speak to how bad he is at hiring people./speaks volumes about his recruitment process./says a lot about his recruitment process.
8) She is too posh to live/be living here.
9) Once you we get there, you'll have to wait 3 hours then you can/will be able to leave.
