Cost-effectiveness vs. cost effectiveness

Hello (SQ)² A cursory Google suggests that fewer people hyphenate 'cost-effectiveness' than 'cost-effective', which is interesting. But I would hyphenate both. Then there's no chance of inadvertent ambiguity.
