What is the difference between the following two?
Do you think the police in your country are corrupt? AND
Do you think the police in your country are corrupted?

I see it this way,

Tom is corrupt. He has a morally bad character. Perhaps he was born that way..

Mary was an innocent girl, but she became friends with evil people
Now Mary is corrupted.

It;s much more natural to use other tenses.
eg Mary was corrupted by her friends.
eg May has been corrupted.

So, being corrupted sounds like it is acquired from others and being corrupt is in someone's nature.
Is this right?
