0I think that a correspondent (in the sense you mean) is always a reporter, but not necessarily vice versa.02br

0A further thought. Since "correspondent" also means "someone who corresponds by letter", I suppose that newspaper correspondents were originally those reporters who were stationed a way away from the main office, especially in another country, and who filed their reports by letter.0-
