Correection of the sentence

"I don't remember, what I remeber. "

I, generally, don't remember whether I remember something or not.

So does the sentence I quoted at the top, will it mean the same? Please explain

Top answer

" The comma is wrong. There should never be a comma between a verb and its object (unless it is one of a pair of commas enclosing parenthetical information). "I don't remember what I remember" is correct English but seems cryptic.
