Correctness/appropriateness of tenses in the review of place visited

Hi. Do these tensical approach correct ( good?) as the review of a place one visited? Let us say (make it a hypothetical situation) that there were sub-headings in this piece in addition to the title of the article. I am keen on knowing what you have to say about the tense for the underlind part.

On this particular day, (the?) first stop is XXX Cultural Center, located in a high-rise bulding...It is used by many people...Heading south, John Doe went ahead of our group in a SUV...The next destination is the XXX Cultural Museum, located in the heart of downtown. The building looks just like the cultural center we visited previously... Continuing east from the XXX CityPark, which is across from the museum, is the place only can be described as sublimely tranquil.
