Hans51 Does this sentence make sense and are the choices of words correct to native English speakers? It makes sense, but it can be improved a little: If you do not burn garbage properly, poisonous materials such as hydrogen chloride, sulfur oxides, aldehydes, ammonia, and organic acids are released and cause air pollution and the diseases it brings. It is probably not necessary to mention so many poisonous materials.
