Correctness of these questions types

Hi, are these questions correct?

In what ways do you try to do this? -- I thnk the preposition 'In' is optional.
What ways do you try to do this?
At what city do you live? -- I think the preposition 'At' is optional.
In addition to a public speech, are our results presented in other forms, such as a written report? -- Do you think having a prepositional phrase at the start of a question is correct?
Other than the instructors, where can we go for help? -- Having the phrase 'other than the instructors' at the front of the question corrrect?
