Correctness of sentence..!

"...liable to pay the Company one month's Pay and Allowances, if he wishes to retire on 31st Dec 2010, which should be consented to by the employee."

is there any grammatical error in the above sentence or it is perfect..?

It might be grammatically correct, but it isn't logically correct. which should be consented to by the employee" How can he wish and not consent? Moreover, what's he consenting to?

How can he wish and not consent?

Moreover, what's he consenting to? Consenting to retiring, even though that was his wish, or consenting to his liability?

given below is the full sentence and only a part of which was quoted in my question which might be seen as illogical..!

"In view of the above the application needs to be considered in the context of the application date ie. 15th Dec 2010 and hence the employee is either eligible to retire only on 15th Jan 2011 or liable to pay the Bank one month's Salary and Allowances, if he wishes t

It still looks illogical to me. And, it's wordy. The incorrect logic remains "wishes to retire" and "should be consented." Try running the sentence through MS Word to look at the Readability Statistics. They're brutal.

If it were me, I'd write something simpler. The following will be a good check to see if I understood your complicated sentence correctly.
