Correctly wording and explaning 2 situations

Could you tell me if these 2 explanations of a situation are understandable and correct grammatically?

The motor bike drove alongside the car and threw his bike in the cars wheels before jumping off the bike to get the car to stop.

The toddler had eaten half the Popsicle and couldn't get the the other half because of the wooden stick protruding. The mother moved the Popsicle up to the top end of the stick with her fingers.

Thanks

Ps is it natural to say "explanations of a situation undersrandable"?
