I read this, please correct if you think its incorrect. Could you correct? I'll point out what is wrong in my mind.

While there is.... [where is the second clause that goes with it?].
unless should be capitalized?
Do people say " no point beyond strengthening someone's integrity."

Why does this matter? The damage is done, Lakers lost! While there is no guarantee they would have won if Kobe shot two free throws unless you give the Lakers the win, or magically take us back into time to rectify it there’s no point beyond strengthening Kobe’s integrity.

Why does this matter? The damage is done, Lakers lost! While there is no guarantee they would have won if Kobe shot two free throws unless you give the Lakers the win, or magically take us back into time to rectify it there’s no point beyond strengthening Kobe’s integrity.

The meaning is not clear as it stands. Still, you could break up the long sentence to make it easier to read.
For example:
Why does this matter? The damage is done: the Lakers lost! Besides, there is no guarantee that they would have won even if Kobe had shot the two free throws. Not unless you give the Lakers the win, or magically take us back in time to rectify [this mistake]. So there's no point to this argument besides emphasizing Kobe's ability.

I would have said something like:

Why does this matter? The damage is done: the Lakers lost! Besides, there is no guarantee that they would have won even if Kobe had shot the two free throws. Unless you give the Lakers the win, or magically take us back in time to rectify [this mistake], there's no point to this argument besides emphasizing Kobe's ability.

I watched a basketball game and this was said by the broadcasters.

He needs to position his hand in a way it doesn't hurt, find his best position.
He needs to shoot the ball in a way that it doesn't hurt his hand.

You need to foul in a manner that he can't score the ball.

Am I right in saying that in is incorrect grammatically speaking to say [in a way or in a manner that]?

Part of the reason you see the turnover numbers increase, more and more he has the ball in his hands.

This is supposed to be one sentence yet there is noting connecting the 2 clauses. Is that correct?

As much as his opponent faked the foul earlier, Kobe faked this one.
As much as I like him as a basketball player, I also hate him at times.

Is starting a sentence with as grammatically correct like in the above 3? Does sentence 2 and 3 make sense? What is the difference between the 2 :

As much as I like him as a basketball player, I also hate him at times.
I like him but I also hate him at times.

These are both not quite right. I would say "in a way that doesn't hurt" (drop the "it")
Better would be to reword the sentences:

He needs to position his hand so that it doesn't hurt when he shoots the ball.
You need to foul in a manner that prevents him from scoring.

The AS sets up a comparison/contrast and the general structure is grammatical. The translation is not "I like him but I also hate him." The translations is "I like this big thing about him but I dislike this smaller thing."
Take another example: "As much as I like pizza, I can't stand it with anchovies on it."

It is very funny that broadcasters whose language are English make such foolish mistakes. I don't understand. You'd think they'd be educated.

"bears watching" is a common phrase. You could say "This player is worth watching." Or "This player is someone you should keep an eye on."

Several variations are correct. But "if" has to refer to events that haven't actually happened (either in the past or the future). "That" has to refer to events that actually happen.

It would be only fitting if they won. [The future--they haven't won yet]
It would have been only fitting if they had won. [The past--they didn't win]
It is only fitting that they win. [The future]

It was only fitting that they won. [The past]
