Corrections Please

My line manager has his support to my training (ASP.Net and JavaScript). But he has been asked to show benefits and justify on my training. And he has also asked me the similar. So below is my draft response. I would be very grateful if you could look and correct my English. I am also happy if you could also add/delete text, wording, phrasing, etc. Thanks a lot as always.

Basically questions are –
1. Why ASP.NET and JavaScript
2. What benefits me?
3. What benefits to the office
4. Are these training not available locally or regionally
5. Cost sharing with ABC (where I work for 50%)

Dear

Thank you very much for supporting my training.

1. You may know that most of our on-line systems (EMS, Car Booking, IT FAQ, Training Profile, etc.) were written by myself using Microsoft's Active Server Pages technology (ASP). ASP.NET is the next generation ASP and a powerful tool for creating dynamic and interactive web pages. I would like to learn it to develop my programming skills and knowledge. In addition to ASP.Net training, I would also like do JavaScript training which provides the knowledge necessary to design and develop dynamic web pages.

2. Both trainings would ultimately help me to enhance my web programming expertise. On top of this, it would also assist me on upgrading the existing on-line systems to the better version.

3. After the training completion, I think the office would have better trained employee who can utilise my new skills in any web development fields such as On-line EMS.

4. Both trainings are available locally and regionally but as I said in my email earlier it is unlikelihood of getting the training locally or regionally with content similar to HOTT London. And the most computer trainings whatever I did locally in the past, were not fully satisfied to me. These were due to in-experience/unqualified instructors, part-time (2 hours a day – before/after the office), long time (more than 1 month) to complete the course, etc.

5. I think the training is basically for the EMS future improvement/development so would not be sensible to request ABC for sharing the training costs.

I would be happy to provide any further information if required. Thank you.

Regards, MK
