Corrections on my English writing

Boss,
I would like to have Internet setup at my home as other IT Managers in the regional have this facility at their residence. The main reason for this are:
1. to check IT system remotely
2. to read computer related news as I do not have time do it in the office – covering two offices
3. to check and let remote working users know on the remote access availabilities
4. to communicate with HQ Helpdesk in case of our local network failure
5. to work from home in case of Bandh (strike)
I would be very grateful if you could support and forward it to the Head of Office for her approval. Thanks.
