Can I say,

(a) There is a vase.

(b) It is a vase.



Which one is correct if a picture shows a boy pointing a vase from a distance.



(c ) He caught so many fish. (Is that correct?)

That will be depend on the context. It could be a comment of admiration: "Have you heard about Joe? He caught so many fish!"

As it stands, it seems an unfinished sentence.
