Can I say,

(a) Yesterday night was a quiet night. Simon was all alone in his house reading his favourite storybook. His parents had gone to attend a wedding dinner held by his cousin. He put a cup of hot drink and a basket of fruit on the table in front of him.



(b) After three hours, Simon saw some dark figures moving outside his house. He was frightened and scared. He quickly switched on the light outside his house. Then, he went to the window to see who was there.



(c) When Simon looked out, he saw his parents. They looked confuse and worry. They had forgotten to bring the house keys before went to the wedding dinner. Simon quickly opened the door. His parents were very grateful to Simon. He was very happy.
