Can I say,

(1) She screamed at / to a rat.

(2) He trims his bonsai / bonsai plant.

(3) She is playing recorder / the recorder in the school band.

(4) The cat was asleep between the flower pots.

(5) He bought a few comics home.

(6) They are blowing/ blowing out / up the balloons.

(7) The men built the wall.

(8) He feeds the rabbit.

(9) They are talking last week.
They are talking each other last week.

(10) They go to the cinema to watch movie.

(1) She screamed at a rat.

(2) He trims his bonsai / bonsai plant. -- OK

(3) She is playing recorder / the recorder in the school band. -- In BrE, "the" seems desirable. I'm guessing that AmE may be more tolerant of the omission of "the".

(4) The cat was asleep between the flower pots. -- OK

(5) He brought a few comics home.

(6) They are
