Can I say,

(1) Sam is picking up / is picking a piece of paper.

(2) They are getting wet in the rain.

(3) The crowd is watching the top spinning competition.

(4) The truck is towing a car.

(5) The hut is located by / at / in the river. (Do we say "located near / by"? )

(6) The mango tree bears a lot of fruit.

(7) He fell down and got himself injured.

(8) They are clearing / clearing up the table.

(9) Grandpa admired the boinsai.

(10) The cat knocked a plant down.
