Hello, I hope you all are going well.

This is a short story that I had to make up for one of my classes and I would like to know if you can help me with any corrections. Thanks in advance.

It was midnight in the quiet Valley of Hibernia.

The wind blows gently through the giant trees that cover the sky. The valley is certainly inhabited by harmless creatures; however, all of a sudden, a distant boom is heard coming from the Higgins' house.

Oh no ! It's the wicked Gobblins that have come to set fire to your house ! And they are taking the generous Mr. Higgins ! - What is the matter? Why are the Gobblings behaving like this?

In the meantime, inside the burning house, the young Calindor was starting to wake up very scared, son of Mr. Higgins. - What's going on? Dad, where are you? The house is on fire ! Shouted desperately the young Calindor; and while asphyxiated by the smoke he was breathing, he kept on searching.

Guided by the foot prints that the Gobblins left behind, Calindor goes deep into the Forest of Almeria where torrential rain started to pour down. During his journey, he ran into 6 more Gobblins that came out from the leaves of the trees, but once again, the astute Calindor managed to defeat them with the help of his sharp dagger.

Upon reaching the end of a narrow trail, he encountered a hillock named "Dolmen" where he observes 3 more Gobblins and in their claws...his father.

Calindor then rushes to save his father, he attacks and kills the gobblins, but another wave of Gobblins magically appears which he manages to defeat without a problem, but once again, a new wave of Gobblins appears and so on.

Eventually, after a tough battle, the brave Calindor was victorious thanks to his powerful dagger and happily runs to hug his father.

But the worst was yet to happen...

Right in that moment, Nergal appears, a wicked elf wizard and Mr. Higgins' childhood friend, and by using his black magic, he appeared behind Mr. Higgins and slit the throat thereof. Nergal then disappears right away.

The young Calindor motionless like a stone is shocked and slowly moves closer to his dying father. He can barely hear his father's last words, " The chest in the basement". Right thereafter, his father died and Calindor was overwhelmed by sorrow and burst into tears while swearing vengeance.

After Calindor buried his father, he swears vengeance again and lets out a roar of fury as the sun sets at dawn.
