Thank you in advance!!!

My research and teaching interests in ****** were spraked during my MSc course at ****, **** University. I was there introduced to a wide range of subjects, such as ******. However, the field **** particularly captured in my mind. While offering this subject, I understand the importance of this subject in a wide variety of environmental problems and became interested to develop my professional career in this field.

To fulfill my aim I joined for PhD programme in the department of *****. There, I have started up my research career in the field of *****. I have worked on *****. I have also done some course work related to my research topic. Besides that, I have involved with several other project work related to waste characterization and their management. In addition, I also got experienced on various sophisticated analytical equipments viz. ***.

To proceed further in this field, I have joined as a post-doctorate researcher in the ****. There, I mainly worked on **** and gained so much practical knowledge in hydrogeology field. Currently, my primary research is broadly related to contaminant transport in surface/subsurface water, plant-soil interactions and bioremediation of toxic metals from aquatic bodies. In particular, I have focused on arsenic behavior in alluvial aquifer and soil rhizhosphere, arsenic and cadmium uptake mechanisms by plants, remediation of acid mine drainage, phytoremediation of heavy metals and role of nanominerals in environment.

Based on my doctoral and postdoctoral research experience, I am well fit and capable enough to carry forward my research carrier as well as an academician. As University of *****llahabad is well known for its national importance in terms of quality of teaching and research, it would be a great opportunity for me to join this University and contribute to institutional research interests and welfare of the institute.
